Job Overview:

The process technician supports the Process Engineer in all his activities of cost savings initiatives related to molding cycle time, scrap, machine utilization and resins.

Responsibilities:

Reduce molding cycle time and reject rate

• Develop most cost-effective resin blends
• Develop process conditions to use the most cost-effective resin blends

Develop molding processes of all new products and/or molds

• Collaborate with others to obtain best machine uptime
• Trouble shoot process problems

• Operate injection molding machines

• Ensure and enforce compliance with all legal regulations and company policies

Position Requirements:

1. Experience: Minimum High school.

1. Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in a plastics processing environment

1. Licenses/Certification: Certification in Industrial Technology is preferred.

1. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Set up new injection molding tooling
• Set up injection molding parameters
• Trouble shoot and resolve injection molding issues
• Process analysis and improvement
• Possess good teamwork skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
